Rude Tube is a British television clip show produced for Channel 4 and E4. The programme counts down the top viral videos from the internet, presenting 50 or 100 clips in themed episodes. Hosted by comedian Alex Zane, it first aired on and ran for 11 series, concluding on .
Each episode features interviews with the creators behind the viral sensations, giving viewers a behind‑the‑scenes look at the stories behind the clips. The pilot attracted 2.5 million viewers and the show quickly developed a cult following for its irreverent tone and curated selection of internet gems.

History & Milestones
After a pilot episode presented by Alex Zane on , Rude Tube returned later that year with a six‑episode series presented by comedian Matt Kirshen. From 2009 onwards, Zane resumed hosting duties, and the show’s New Year special and annual series became a staple of Channel 4’s schedules.
The programme’s later series aired on E4 and continued to experiment with new themes and longer episodes, including Christmas and New Year specials. The final series debuted in May 2017 and concluded that July.
